An introduction to observing, documenting & identifying mushrooms!

Learning to recognise mushrooms is only one part of getting to know them. Beneath every fruiting body lies a wonderfully weird world of relationships, adaptations and ecological connections.

Explore how form, function and habitat can help us understand and identify the fungi we encounter, while learning how to turn discoveries into meaningful records that contribute to our collective understanding of fungal biodiversity.

What we will do:

A fully immersive experience exploring the Woodland surrounding the Hardwick Estate in Oxfordshire with our expert mushroom grower James - learn how to observe mushrooms in their natural habitat and dive deeper into the underground world of fungi and their relationship with their environment.
